I don't understand what you mean by a step up, All Gas no Brakes/Channel 5 has always been on point!
More actual journalism as opposed to just pointing a camera at a bunch of inebriated people making fools of themselves.

Andrew doesn't claim to be a journalist, he's just a smart, well-traveled guy with a knack for interviewing weirdos and white wannabe rappers.
I don't think most of his subjects are inebriated either, I've watched most of his videos. The spring break one and maybe the biker rally are the only ones that come to mind.

Whatever it is, he certainly caught a bolt of lightning. He made his bones by holding a straight face and giving real air time to people who have interesting things to say...much like Howard Stern. I thought the Ukraine stuff was actually thought provoking...he pointed the camera at a different kind of train wreck.
