I heard that those ready to make kits aren't really that great and taste like shit. Any truth to that?

Man, they took out this awesome stout at this bbq place by my house. All they have is black ale now, and that isn't stout.

Not a big IPA guy, but the Dirty Bastard was delicious. The Long Trail was good, but I think I like the Double Bag better, it's more balanced.

Having a wonderful evening with some Stone 17th Anniversary IPA. Really cool concept: Utilizes entirely German hops and malts to create a West Coast-style IPA with aggressive hop aroma and bitterness.
Last night I had my first Jai Alai IPA and I died. Sooooo good. The aroma alone as I opened the can was stunning.

I don't really drink more than one or two of the fancier stuff unless it's really easily accessible.
Also, just be adventurous every once in a while. Find a bomber or a couple singles of an exciting craft beer that'll get you tipsy and open your horizons and then finish the job with PBR or something. Get a growler and drink the whole thing in one night because fuck rules.
