Spent an hour jamming to raw drum tracks. Bass Big Muff with only a little bit of dirt blended in into Custom Superfuzz with a little bit of nasty blended in into the GB Fuzz Wah. Fun times.

Man, YEAH. That thing is awesome. It might wind up taking the Badascan's place for the Khemmis board, not sure yet. I had a killer mail day.

 If things go my way, I will probably sell a couple things after Christmas and pick up a Quantum Mystic.

I'm pleased to announce to the world that I am now officially once and for all, done with the fucking army. :!!!:

I'm medically retired so I'll still have the VA in my life but hopefully that wont be such an intrusive and burdensome thing.
to celebrate? I made some fried chicken and brewed up some of my favorite blood wine cocktail recipe. Rum and shine with assorted wines, guaranteed to cure what ails you! :thumb:

I now return you to your regularly scheduled
DooM

:doom:
Congrats!

thanks to all for the well wishes for leaving Army life.

7 STRING NEWS.

The Kit is here and its about what I expected. Body is several pieces glued together, Hardware looks slightly less cheap than I thought it would be. could be because Its all black and not chromed. The Nut is a giant piece of shit that unfortunately is glued on. This will be replaced with a metal one, either alum or brass. the neck itself actually was a pleasant surprise. Nicely figured bit of maple, the frets are not perfect, but are not sticking out to the point where they could draw blood like some other kits I've gotten. binding appears to be well glued in place with no gaps.

I'll take some pics and will start an assembly thread over in the Guitar Tech & Projects forum.

Mike, ryder and I rearranged the jam room after practice tonight. We're going to have so much room for activities now!
But seriously, there is enough space for 4 in there now. :thumb:

7 string Kit is here.

Build thread is here- http://ilovefuzz.com/viewtopic.php?f=192&t=38260

Looks like it will be fairly simple, not as many headaches as I expected right off the bat. We'll see what demons arise as it goes together.

Scott Kelly has used a 2-channel JCM800 with Neurosis for more than a decade and does pretty well by it. I had one and it was a little tricky to dial in (it loved being cranked) but was magical when done right.

all this marshall love has got me thinking twice about the Orange TH30…

so i sold my amp tonight…and am now ampless…but i have cash, and just found out that my parents want to give me some cash for xmas too…so my options have opened up!

I usually like choice but sometimes it makes things too difficult.

Buy it so I don't. I know you're overseas, but what a deal! I've seen it drop once or twice, it may drop again if no one bids on it this go time.

Oh god

"The tubes light up but I don't have a cabinet to test it with so I honestly can't tell you how it sounds, if the pots are dirty, or if it needs new tubes. It sounded great when I used to play...just can't tell you how it sounds now."
