Been out of the loop since Saturday. Played an awesome house show on Black Friday and blew my voice out which ended up leading to a badass upper respiratory infection. I'm still coughing up huge chunks of what resembles Jabba the Hut. Fucking sucks. Hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving.

I have plenty of catching up to do, but I just wanted to post this (if someone already has then apologies):

Wren and Cuff HM-2 clone.

Also, does anyone have any experience with Ruby tubes? I need new EL84's for my Memphis and there is a guy selling eight of the EL84C (C is for Chinese so I gather) for €60 along with a pedal I'm interested in.

We had a supermassive thread on that a couple weeks ago. So frosty was the reception that the esteemed W&C himself showed up.

what are thoughts on this amp?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181271263674? ... 1423.l2649

never played a JCM 800…but this looks good…i could use it as combo for now, and if get into a band could always get a 4x12 and hook it up.

it's the two channel version, which isn't generally near as desirable as the single channel ones are. however, i do think those can sound pretty good. certainly not bad for an at home amp.

Seems like the price is on the high end, but that's ebay for you. Definitely worth it if you could snag it for about 450.

Yeah, same reason I was keen on it. Dat superbass...tidy. I'm also looking forward to seeing what the BF can do with it. Should be a dynamic duo.
Good luck with your end of semesters man!

I'm pleased to announce to the world that I am now officially once and for all, done with the fucking army. :!!!:

I'm medically retired so I'll still have the VA in my life but hopefully that wont be such an intrusive and burdensome thing.
to celebrate? I made some fried chicken and brewed up some of my favorite blood wine cocktail recipe. Rum and shine with assorted wines, guaranteed to cure what ails you! :thumb:

I now return you to your regularly scheduled

This is good news! Nice ones man!

Pfft, fuck knows dude. But they definitely aren't gonna make another one like him any time soon.

I can also sync their delay times
Nice, sounds like an endless sea of functionality. That would be way handy for the moogs.

EVERYONE is doing this HM-2 thing since nick announced his. I'm gonna hold out though. So hurry up dude!
Also, I'd avoid rubys. I've had em before, hated em. I'm a Tung-Sol or GTFO kind of guy, though. Shuguang's are great for the money, too. Their EL34B is where it is fucking at.

Started working on the new 12 0 Doom, the Spalted maple I was saving for an sg build appears to have warped quite a bit. I'm going to do my best to save it but I might have to go with some better wood. Parts are starting to show up in the mail and I can get working on building the trem. Of course this meant that I didn't spena hardly any time working on rearranging the jam room to try to free up some space. Oh well I'll get to it. :p
