A pitch shifter and anything (in the ring mod realm) with an external input will get you there.

The Pigtronix one does that.

Yep.

Subdecay Vitruvian as well. EHX Ring Thing will "learn" your pitch if you press a footswitch while playing - holding down the footswitch produces interesting notes.
The Vitruvian "hard syncs" automatically while you play, though....

Carrier bleed is just part of ring mod unless you have some gating circuitry.. but that kills sustain and artifacts etc. So I've never really poo-pooed a ring mod just for that. The oscillator is pretty dank and that alone is worth it for me

To be clear my

comment was just code for Chank to set up a Del Val ringathon sesh, but your point is very well taken. I suspect a few who frequent this thread are in the same camp....
As for ye flypper in South Carolina, I wonder where and when the object in question was obtained

Yeah I know you guys are in here with me
Monobius is a perfect example of a ring mod that has carrier bleed in some settings but the decay is so glorious it becomes part of the experience.
Also while we're talking about it.. I'll just throw it out there that a ring mod with a tracking carrier just seems like a really inefficient pitch shifter. That being said I'll probably still buy a ring thing sooner or later
