I did, left me speechless. The touching wooden "keys" is kinda weird, but i can dig it.

299 jx and juno, 399 jupiter. 99 for keys. They are VAs. Isn't that what the system 1 was supposed to be (plug out). This is kinda a collectors, niche thing I think? Weird. JX-3p...surprised they picked that one. They do look nice though.
I guess it is nice to have the standalone and not worry about software.
Also said that the 25 keys will be less than 12" across? Tiny. Yea, 500 for a limited VA of a Jupiter with mini keys? No matter how much I really want to love it, it is too much.

that's actually pretty reasonable! I'd grab a keyboardless one and control it with a full size keyboard. Their real life counterparts are pretty expensive from what I know

At that price I'd just get the new moog.

These are very different beasts, not really comparable.

Guitar Center shows the Juno model at $299.
I remember back in 2002/2003 when I really wanted a Juno 60/106 and I would scour eBay and we them going for roughly that price.

This is really cool, it's also $1200. Prices make me cry.
That Roland stuff is insane though, great prices. think I'll get either the Juno or Jupiter module considering how cheap they are. Going to have to test one out to see how it compares to the original stuff.

So my Carlsbro Mantis delay pedal broke a long while ago - no mixed signal was coming out. It seemed to be tied to the "Echo" slider which also broke at the same time - it wouldn't slide all the way down. This slider is a wet/dry mix and I would sometimes get echos if I jiggled it. So I finally got around to bringing it to a local guy to fix. While there I also asked him to convert it from 220V UK power to 110V USA power so I didn't have to use a power converter any longer.
Well, I dunno if something got fucked up, but the pedal sounds totally different now. In a good way.

The "RotaFaze" section which is supposed to emulate tape warble is insane now. I had him fix that part before and when he fixed it, it was still a very subtle warble. Now, even though I didn't mention anything about it, this warble is off the charts. So who knows what happened. I wonder if this is the way it was always supposed to work? Since there are only like 4 or 5 demos on youtube (half of those done by UG) who knows how this thing is really supposed to sound?
Stupid demo below:
Out of tune Strat > Carlsbro Mantis > Silvertone 1464
This pedal also imparts a nice lofi grit to the signal even when the delay is not engaged. All the distortion sounds are made from the pedal when the volume knob on the guitar is dimed and the input is way up on the pedal. This was always like that, but I thought I would mention it in case you missed that no other pedals were in the chain.
It is a noise machine now.
