That is exactly what I thought when I heard it! l actually sold Joel a in limbo III last year sometime so I guessing it was an influence on this one.

Thermae is something Joel's been tinkering with for awhile.
He was pretty disappointed when he discovered the In Limbo & Rubberneck, considered not going through with the design.
But he bought both to try them out and found they were quite different from what he was going for.

So Thermae was made. And it's quite different.

I believe you. I'm just saying that, based on this little preview, it sounds identical to the In Limbo and that the features Joel talked about in the video are pretty much identical to the In Limbo(step/arp/normal analog delay w/modulation). That being said, I'm sure there's more to uncover with all the dip switches, MIDI integration and the glide functionality. I'm just calling the perceived shovel a shovel. I hope you don't think I'm implying that Joel copied the In Limbo, but that the overlap is eerily similar, which I think is a fair statement based on the few sounds we've heard so far. I love Joel. I have a mancrush on the guy. Come on.

Only so many ways to skin a cat.
When it comes to the cat that is pitch shifted MN3005-based delay, though others might've skinned that cat in their own ways, I imagine Joel has figured out how to skin the cat in all the ways.

I love the glide knob. If it's the only thing that sets it apart that would still be awesome.
I just wish Joel would use larger enclosures. Way back when I had a Warped Vinyl I kept stepping on both stomps and overwrote my presets all the time.
