I love the tasteful application of purple throughout your board. Super sexy.

Yeah, Brian really killed it on that one, you should see it in person, the pic doesnt do it justice :)

:!!!: Phantom Flowers rule! I love the skipping glitch mode, so much fun to match your picking intensity to making it glitch out with the rhythm. Have you tried Phantom Octave into Phantom Flower? Set the Flower to Octave down mode (whichever LED you want) and you get huge, fat, and (mostly) stable octave down. I love stacking Phantoms. You get a similar result with the Fuzzprint if you set it to heavy glitching, octave down sound. That`s why my first board goes Phantom Arcade into Fuzzprint.

Stacked Phantoms :joy: :omg: :!!!:

but i think i could start another one
and find some stuff wanted to fill it

I bought a second pedal train with hard case just to store my extra pedals. Then I started pulling my board apart and slapping it back together and making a huge mess of everything, so I`m gonna try this 2 board setup. I have my main board I can take to jam and whatnot and Im gonna get some bypass loops so I can plug in both and have access to all the pedals I wish I could fit on my first board.

ChetMagongalo wrote:How do you like your EQD chorus? I've had my eyes on it and a few others for chorus, that one being my first pick right now

If you mean the Rainbow Machine, it`s not quite a chorus. It`s more of a delay (with short delay time) with wierd pitch bending capabilities. You can get chorus like tones out if though. My favourite setting is with the pitch just below noon it gets this slow downward chorus effect. If you add in some magic to that you get these dramatic swooping whooshes that create some eerie ambience. Of course it does the wacky pixie trails stuff from the demos too. The rainbow Machine doesn`t do true chorus cause it only bends the pitch in one direction at a time. with pitch above noon it ramps up, and below noon it ramps down. So it doesn`t bring the patch back and forth like a chorus. Just one way and then it starts over. The rainbow machine is great for adding space to any tone though. No matter how huge a tone I throw at it when I turn on the Rainbow Machine it gets huger, and never seems to turn to mud.

On my main board I have an EQD Sea Machine. It`s an actual chorus. but it has extra functionality that makes it really cool. I`m finding more and more that I prefer the Sea Macine to the Rainbow Machine. I think a straight up chorus doesn`t appeal to me. But the Sea Machine does all that and adds some cool features, like the ability to adjust the delay time to the signal. So you can get some reverb like sounds, some slapback sounds, and some straight up warped delay sounds. All the while including your standard chorus tones. Also there's some control over waveshape too.

Point is, the Rainbow Machine is pretty nice, and it does alot of cool stuff (including some chorus effects) but it`s not a chorus. It has more delay capabililties and it`s great for adding extra space, but doesn't have alot of control over the sweep like a chorus does. The Sea Machine is an awesome chorus, that adds in some delay type effects. To me the Sea Machine is just so much more versatile. I love the sea Machine, the only chorus that might be able to kick it off the board is the Iron Ether Polytope. Which again, is not truly a chorus because it expands chorus controls into a new realm.

Changed it up a bit. Bass or Guitar->LS-2->TU-2->Amp Threw the Supercollider in Loop A of the LS-2 for my Clean/Dirty. Then it's OC-2->WSOU->Shiva->Bass Envelope Filter->DL4 in Loop B

Funny enough I mistook your Rainbow Machine for the Sea Machine (6 knobs on both I think?) Anyway I would have asked about the RM if I had noticed you had one. Thanks for the info! Super helpful

New mini board/synth
Image
Chain is Pocket Piano> Master Blender (so I can live loop)> Patch Bay with electret mic and anything else I might wanna loop> Kaleidoloop> Back into Blender > Pitch Box > Vibrato > MSLP Springsteen'd.

Shit is ridiculous, double pitch bent vibrato'd arpeggios and reversed drone vocals going into massive spring reverb...
