Pirate captain sparrow #7 or whatever is on Netflix noe.. might as well see if it's any good. Watching these movies is like having watched a movie really drunk .. you kind of remember parts of it, and there's a parrot .. And then Johnny Depp puts on some more eye shadow..

The first season 4 was so bad I don't want to risk wasting my time on a remix.
It was probably better dead as a 3 season 100% classic.

I didn't like the first time through season 4 but the remix is genuinely hilarious and feels more like classic arrested development

Hmm...
Slightly intrigued.
My roommate is rewatching it at the moment and having seen the odd episode has made me really want to rewatch it but was planning on stopping at the end of 3, so if I do end up rewatching I guess I could keep going to the remix.

I can't fucking believe SyFy cancelled the Expanse. Netflix better pick it up!
Also, just watched the first two episodes of Electric Dreams (on PVR, not streamed). Really enjoying it so far. The first episode (mind reading detectives) was great and had a bit of a Blade Runner feel; I'd like to see more of that world. The second episode (space tourism/con artists) was a little weaker, but still interesting.

Sadly, they won't be.
They were getting rid of set material and everything back when it was first announced.
Edit: whoops, I was thinking of Dark Matter. Man, SyFy really fucking sucks, they constantly cancel their best shows.

Electric Dreams is great across the board, and I think it does really well with not falling into the Black Mirror "trap" where everything appears to be, relatively, in the same universe and instead just sticks with the whole anthology-of-individual-PKD-stories thing.

Personally, I'm cool with not knowing how the mind reading detectives story ends or seeing more of that universe because any expansion of that would mean shifting from PKD's story to something that would, most likely, end up being fairly contrived.

Well, that sucks about Dark Matter too; I was always hoping someone would pick that up again

I definitely appreciate that they aren't falling into the Dark Mirror "trap" and that the anthology feel remains throughout. I remember there being a lot of comparisons between Electric Dreams and Black Mirror, which I understand considering they're both sci-fi based anthologies, but I feel like they're very different beasts. I'm excited to dive deeper in the PKD's stories. I want to pick up all of the associated books after watching these episodes.
I don't really want to see how the mind reading detectives ends, I appreciated the ambiguous ending, but I would love to see more in that world. More about living as a telepath and whatever rebellions. It would be hard to keep it in line with PKD's vision though, but I think it could be done.

Hey I'm british and think all great TV shows should have 2 or 3 seasons and end.

I binge watched attack on titan because I was home sick.. It's a pretty fun one in my opinion. They definitely play too much of the previous episode at the beginning of the new episode each time, but other than that it's alright. Too had Netflix doesn't has season 2.. and it's like 16$ on prime. Fuck
