I went into the live room and Behndy was sitting on a stool with a brown hounds tooth cabbie hat on no shirt or shoes with some old green jeans and some tan wool fingerless gloves... His hair was in two braids but it was wrapped around his neck Kung Fu style and he had a huge Les Claypool type Carl Thompson with a huge brown strap that had leather tassels and conchos with turquoise kitty heads in the middle... He was sweating and asking for the heat to be turned up so his feet could warm up... I stood there and was like "WTF dude why are you already causing trouble you just got here"... Behndy said "I don't care about this session cause the Disco tracks are what pay my bills, see" then he started playing slap bass and using the gloves to slide up and down on the bass real fast like some Yngwie shit going "See it's in the gloves man, the gloves"... I kicked over his 20x10 cabinet and said "I don't give a shit about the god damn disco gloves you're here to play Space Country like we talked about, got it"... Behndy stopped playing and adjusted his hair collar and said "alright, pick up the damn cabinet and I'll play the stupid Space Country"... I leaned the cab back up and looked at Behndy who was in a big huff mumbling about his gloves and left the live room and went back to the control room... I leaned into the talk back and said "this is Space Country song #3 take one, lets go Behnders" and he started playing the stuff we talked about so I started to roll a blunt and watch the levels...
Weird...
I learned more about session playing in this one paragraph than I've learned in 20 years of thinking I know what's going on.

Bruce, you are going to have so much fun raising all those kids. Put instruments in their hands early man!
God my balls hurt!!!!!!! It's been a week today. I couldn't stand it anymore. I went to the gym and pumped some iron. I usually go 6 days a week, so not going for 7 days was fucking with me hard. So annoying. Now my balls are all achy and acting like bitches. lol
Also, I have to go back to work tomorrow.

I've been off for a week, so going back sucks. I sad.
I need to make mo money. MO MONEY. I'm going to start hustling crack. Or selling more etches. God I'm lazy.
Anyway, I love you all. Happy New Years you fucks.

Haha. The new Partridge Family. That's what's up. My wife is a pretty insane singer, too. She does a ton of musicals at the LC theatre, usually the lead. Has a Julie Andrews kind of vibe. Soooooo sweet and beautiful. We'll be touring in a city near you in eight years.
And it was more of a walmart brand sparkling wine wannabe Korbel. But it rocked.
And wow. Achy balls. I haven't done that to myself working out before. I was pretty in shape before the pregnancy, soccer three days a week. I've gained a good 20 since then. Once we get a routine kicking, I'll try to shake this shit off. How exactly are your balls hurt? From marching band and soccer, I'll get the good bit a chafe kicking. But Gold Bond is my angel.
Now. Let the first multi page topic on this epic thread in 2013 be achy balls. And let it be glorious.

LOL! Swamp balls would actually be a blessing at this point! I'm not quite sure why they still ache. My cousin's pain went away after like 3 days. My don't hurt all the time, but only if I move wrong. I should have ask the doc to trim them down a bit while he was down there. They are just way too big.
Dude I wish my wife would do a band type thing with me. I would be fucking stoked (do people still use that word?) if she wanted to do something like that. Fuck.

Achy balls are the worst. Me and my brother were building a deck over the summer and he swung around with a massive floorboard - got me right in the balls/grundle.
I fell to the ground almost crying. Not cool

So I have decided I need 2 preps and a stereo power amp for my rig. But what pre amps? Thinking about rusty box for neck pickup but I have no idea what to use for the bridge? I kind of what something with some honk, any suggestions?

Hartke can honk on the cheap.
So, stereo output with left being neck and right being bridge (or vice versa)?
Innnnnnteresting. Why?

Why not? That's how I run it now and I can get some glorious sounds and yeah I would like a pedal although I'm not sold on the rusty I just need two that will compliment each other. I run my neck pretty flat with a bit of bass boosted and I like my bridge to be middy

I still believe firmly in the MXR Bass DI+. The gate lets you get adventurous with the dirt without being a constant source of hum, and it's versatile in lower gain settings as well as on the clean channel.
