Yeah, theres definitely no scoop. Its not a huge mid boost like some of the dirt pedals I have, but it does sit nicely from what i can tell. Ill have full band practice tomorrow and really test it out.

there is an internal trim for the color, and it can get really dark and bassy, or really bright and sharp, but I definitely prefer it around the middle. Plenty of bass and a nice growly attack with none of that big muff mid suck.

I was kind of wanting it as a side project since I didn't opt in for the original builds. I'm wondering what asymmetrical clipping and op amps (if easily changed out) would sound like.

Out of curiosity, how were you using your mini when you were boosting it?

Gain right above noon, bias at 10 o clock, bass cranked, treble at 2 o cclock, volume at noon, unity-ish with my clean signal.

Basically, a really gnarly lo fi starved OD. I don't crank the gain on it, I just use it to add a little grit, some sharper attack, and some junky crackly goodness with the bias down.

I ran the Marsh Chapel before my Mini today and it handled it a little better. Less squishy, more crackly. I liked both ways though.

I need a bigger board but GOD, I do not want to spend 100 bucks. Especially trying to finish my bass. Looks like its about to happen though.

On the plus side, I can use my old board for all my guitar player buddy's pedals and maybe get him to come over and play every once in a while. He left his strat and all his pedals over here.

Gonna get some new patch cables too. I wanna go full Clean Channel with that top mount life.

I'm gonna grab a pt Jr for 20% off from prymaxe tomorrow. I figure 80 bucks is worth the board, the soft case, and relatively instant gratification.

I'm going to get some of those EBS flat patch cables too.

What is it? I want one too now.

I've been strangely low on gas lately, at least for music stuff. Since I bought my new car (Acura RSX-S), I've been craving some go-faster parts for it. I want a less restrictive intake, and an exhaust system, and maybe headers. Basically I want like 20 more horsepower, and LOUDER! Not crazy loud though, just a bit deeper and louder than it is now. Maybe some bigger rims and tires too, and some coilovers, better brakes... fuck why does everything I want have to be so damn expensive.

If you want it to go faster then just paint it red! Red cars go faster. It's a proven fact.
