You're just, you know, not nearly as gear-savvy as you think you are, and that's kind of obvious from your posts about gear.
No I just do t have the time to make 27,000 posts about gear like you. I can crush you in gear knowledge, you don’t know me at all... you’re basing this off me asking about boost pedal recommendations because I never had to use one, and the fact that multiple people in that thread suggested multiple different things on placement, you’re really bitter over that huh. I’ve only posted on here for suggestions and this is the first time I’ve actually sat through a thread, it’s easier to ask then read through a zillion nonsense posts till I find what I’m looking for to be honest.
No I am basing this off of your posts in this thread. Which are bad. They are bad takes. They contain little of anything that could even be misconstrued as merit.

And you have yet to post anything informative or anything proving my opinions on gear or anything else to be false. You’ve literally come at me with “no you’re wrong”... you haven’t disproved anything I’ve said or been able to provide any evidence that your opinion on what I’ve said is inaccurate. I’ve also stated that everything I’ve said are my opinions yet you haven’t responded with any of yours but have said my opinions are wrong. You’ve said I don’t onow what I’m talking about with gear but haven’t pointed out what I’m wrong on either.
Dude, you cannot prove anyone wrong about gear or tone because *cue the more you know music* ITS ALL PERSONAL PREFERENCE AND SUBJECTIVE.

Which if you read my thread you’d read I’ve said that multiple times yet he’s saying “i don’t know what I’m talking about and misinformed some how”
I really don't care what DoS is saying to you, but "proving" someone is right about tone is fruitless.

But this thread is really living up to its title, I gotta give you that.

Kinda wondered if the OP was sent by TGP as retaliation for Witt's posts over there :D

This is not Witt. I know that mind, I know that rhetoric and this isn't him.

Guitar pickups are merely magnets interpreting what a guitar "should" quote unquote sound like. Therefore you are already reinterpreting the signal from the strings. As far as I am concerned the signal is already fucked with from the start. Digital/analog doesn't matter as long I am expressing myself and my musical vision accurately.
There is a very clear autible difference between scatterwound and machinewound, whether you care or not is on you, some of us do, like me. If you don’t care then why chime in? If your perpose in playing guitar is just to make sound that pertains to what you want to achieve and you’ve done so, then great. But there are people who find they like it when things sound better, and they continue to find ways to make those things sound better.

oh wow. this thread got wings real fast.

i really wanted OP to realize that trying to hit 27000 aggressive and misinformed posts as fast as possible wouldn't probably be the best way to communicate with other gear nerds, but seeing as that isn't likely to happen i'm just scanning the thread for a possible sig.

it's down to these two at the moment, but it's really hard to pick the winner:

Ring mod handwound to machine wound for ultimate octave tone.

Where do you see me trying to “prove someone wrong” ? That dude keeps telling me I’m wrong. I’ve never once said one thing is better than another, not once, I’ve given opinion on how I feel about certain products but never have I once told them they are wrong

The “wrong to gear” was a quote that dickhead said. If I’m getting feedback, I’m doing something wrong. That’s my point but if you want to manipulate it into something it’s not that’s fine too

It means "better" is "subjective".

Sometimes I wear a baseball hat with blue PVC glue on it. Sometimes I wear a full brimmed hat. Sometimes I wear no hat. Sometimes my hat is a helmet with two beers and straws.
