I don't mind switching my silver for black or blue or something.

Would the silvers respond well to a paint/stain followed by a quick wipe and polish to isolate the new color at etched surface only?

Noted and I'll get another one engraved. I'm trying to get Brett to answer my emails here but I'm thinking he's been kind of busy setting up shop. So hopefully, I can get a few more in with the others he's supposed to send me.



As far as the color fill type option. I don't think that would work since it doesn't technically remove anything but the surface coloring. I am looking at them and they are totally marked, but they have less space that was engraved, so it's harder to tell and again, for whatever reason, the engraving just wasn't taking well with these. I wouldn't feel good about selling those. I'm just going to avoid the silvers in the future unless I can get consistent results.


So, I'm ready to ship out what I've got probably starting Monday.
