And so far, I haven't actually seen it pan out.

While JHS the duder definitely decided to ignore the entire issue for years, he ultimately, and explicitly, addressed it and that's really the only bit of hard evidence for/against him there is on that subject, from what I understand.

Maybe it's just that I ignored the whole thing in general and preferred to remain neutral, though. Maybe I overlooked instances where supporting evidence was actually provided.
But, thus far, I remain unconvinced that he's a gay hating piece of shit (unless you hold the opinion that all Christians are gay hating pieces of shit?).

Plenty more than the Hyperion fiasco to discuss, in that regard. If one has familiarity with the company's business practices from 6 years of observation, it's easy to focus on the pattern of dubious behavior and dots which practically connect themselves.
Personally I dont know enough about their affiliations or what JHS claims to spiritually support or believe in, to criticize without putting my foot in my mouth. AFAIC any explanation [they offer] has compromised credibility as observable actions do not square with the rhetoric. Furthermore I've tried to train myself to identify and sift through the *official-beliefs-on-my-sleeve* rhetoric of people who hide mistreatment and deceit behind faith or tribalistic ideology. It's easy when a company practically flies a red flag.

I have enough dirt pedals so I'm not going to buy another and was hoping boss would do more "out of the box" stomp boxes... I'm more interested in the business side of things and how BOSS vetted JHS as a company that they wanted to work with, as well as the contractural aspects. This has got to be more of a feather in the cap kind of deal for JHS than a money making venture. I read Devi's pseudo ranting on the subject and her experience with DOD back in the day. Of course I take what she says with a grain of salt but I can see the part of a bigger company taking the majority of the profits.
