Mine:
1. An old Gulbransen Select-A-Rhythm into an OTO Biscuit with pitch shifter setting > Logic > UAD EMT Plate 140 verb
2. Ukulele > SM57 > Logic > out to Biscuit with delay setting > back into Logic
Def stoked to hear how everyone else got theirs if you wanna share...

1: Recovery Sound Destruction Device > Possessed > AD-9
2: Sound Destruction Device.
Both samples were recorded by miking a cheap, small battery amp.

Mine is just a free running modular patch with me switching the frequency and level of the LFO that is controlling the clocks that is sending signals to everything else.

is there no blushing smiley?
mine are just straight up drum recordings, most likely done with a Zoom H2...
Didn't have the time for tailormade recordings
And thought about the samples more like vidret did maybe...
Damn some of you others!
Those sounds are beautiful... might just post one of em as finished track and call it a day
looking forward to all the mangling and bangling that is about to ensue

Sorry about the length! I got carried away... if it's any consolation it doesn't change much.
Sound is Microbrute - Pharaoh - Waifu
Have listened to all the samples now, and they're all great! What a fun bunch of noises to work with.

It's all good!
just for a wee bit I felt like I showed up in old jeans and a faded tshirt going "hey, I brought some excellent craft beer"
and everybody is wearing tuxedos & sipping champagne. or something
A fun bunch of noises it is!
finished tracks go to the same email-adress, D.O.S.?

Mine is 7 different sine wave notes/drones, made with oscillator in the Moog MF-102, run through one of the Michael Norris-plugins.
Don't remember which one. The plugin was on the "master track", so all the drones goes in to the plugin at once.
It is a bit long. It was originally made to use when I did a live soundtrack to a old silent movie,
and since I didn't have any time to do this, I just used this track to reach the deadline.

Hoping to listen to everything when I get home tonight. Then also hope mine aren't a bunch of junk by comparison.
I used a thinline tele into apossessed, a CT5 ( mode 2 or 3 ), a judder, then the afterneath and rev2. Then into the jamman rack and went to the PC using the line out on my Bassman 20 for some extra grit.. Stupid old lexicon interface pooped out right as I was starting so everything went right into the 1/8 inch jack on the sound card.

Mine :
1 - Reface YC->PS3->RV3->Mini->PS3, and it should loop nicely if I didn't fuck-up
2 - Japanese insects field recording in a local park
I'll have to find some time between Dark Souls 3 sessions to setup my gear to use all these now (as I said, I'll do this live)

.

LOL!!! i TOTALLY thought that was just an anime rip, i was like "ITS THE SOUND!"

You mean, people know the noise these things make outside of Japan ?
On my first year here, it took me days to realize that these noises I heard from my apartment were not a malfunctioning electric device somewhere nearby but actual insects

I can't download until Thursday or Friday. I am in a hotel in Des Moines until then. When I get home I will download onto must computer ASAP.
The shorter sample is of my old Knas Ekdahl Polygamist into some VST that mangled it in a nice way.
The longer one is a wooden Flute from Gautamala recorded by my iPad into Flux FX.
