Totally rooting for a surprise departure into time-based/echo/verb focus like the Caroline Meteore with modulation.
But to this point Chase Bliss has been focused on the modulation first.
Pitch vibrato/chorus, trem, phaser, flanger. That detail combined with the ambiguous teaser make me think ringmod complete the pattern.
