How the hell did you limit the presets? I need to read the stupid manual. It's obvious I'm an idiot. LOL!!

Good to know about SFX!!! Thanks dude!

I think he means he stopped making his own presets, overwriting the factory ones. I have a DD-500 and have only turned it on twice in a few months (currently putting together an actual grown-up man pedal board for the first time in a long while and don't have enough power), so you still know way more than me

Well I found some pretty killer presets so far! I didn't even know about some of the menu diving.

My one gripe about the pedal is I'd like for expression to be automatic on a parameter instead of having to select it and save it for each preset. That's kind of stupid. Or I'm stupid and don't know how to use my pedal. lulz.

you can limit the amount of presets to whatever you want, so you're not endlessly scrolling. I have 10 banks (20 patches) set up right now. the boss presets are junk, but they're a good place to start if you find some weird ones.

yeah, you should read the manual ........... :)
if exp was automatic; what would it control?? it makes it sense that it's not, since there is so much you can choose.. (you can control up to 8 parameters at once)

I mean, I get that, but it would be nice if it controlled something from the get go.

I have been reading the manual too. It cracks me up that they say you have to use Boss stuff with it. hahaha

Does anyone have any information about the looper mode on this? I can't find any information on it. Does it sync with the internal tempo? When you record something, does it automatically set the internal clock to that tempo?

i cant answer that directly but i can say that i really dislike the looper on this thing, not really worth having it there imo

i really can't believe they fucked up the looper so bad considering how powerful this thing is. you can't even control the volume.. it's fucking annoying.

on another note.. I've been using mine as a flanger, chorus, evnvelope bitcrusher and trem.. i love this thing :)

I think you can change the loop level with the new firmware.
[ Ver.1.10 ]
Additional Functions

- A TEMPO HOLD function was added.
This lets you keep the tempo information from being changed when switching patches.
- A LOOP LEVEL adjustment function was added.
This makes it possible to adjust the LOOP LEVEL value for phrase loops.

Functionality Improvement

- A clear operation for phrase loops was added.

Bug Fix
The following bug was fixed.

- Executing a bank change with CTL FUNC remaining enabled at "FSW MODE = SIMUL" sometimes results in CTL FUNC failing to stop.
- When a patch change is made, the immediately previous delay sound sometimes plays.

Holy shit, they actually updated their firmware. What a miracle.

I'm too far in to the Nemesis to go back to the 500 though, especially with the new Source Audio reverb coming out soon. :joy:

cool! it'd be rad if they eventually expanded it with fx, etc. i wonder if they fixed only being able to use assign functions for one patch while two are active
