^ If UglyCasanova doesn't get one of these things, I'm almost certain my head will explode. The pedal Gods (or whoever else is responsible) need to stop fucking with him and just give him a goddamn Watafuzz already!

No worries, buddy! I had asked them to write a lower value on the import papers so I wouldn't have to pay $100+ to pick up the damn pedal when it got here. So, they put my pedal aside so that they wouldn't accidetally ship it before they had "corrected" the invoice papers.
TLDR; shipped!!!

Finally got mine (been sitting in the post office while I was gone). Really like it a lot. Finally got that octave fuzz sound I was looking for and it sounds like a foxx tone machine to me (at least from the dmos I have listened to). The octave up is really distinct and it has a biting/cutting quality that I enjoy. Really good standard/riffing fuzz for me.
But does Wata really use .96 picks? That is crazy (though my wife prefers .96/1mm too

)...I gotta have some flex.

At least for bass I prefer super thick picks. Always glad to have more.

I mean, the velvet is the give away. I was just commenting on the sound. I think, like the foxx, the octave sound is more pronounced.
Does your foxx sustain as much as the wata, UG? That is really the significant difference I can hear (maybe a tad bit better tone and probably the same gain circuit from the sabbath?). I think the gate it was is pretty well tuned as it is dead silent when I stop playing.
Nice find...would love to have that foxx though.

For bass, of course...I use like .7-1, but my wife uses them on guitar too. Can''t strum as sloppy to cover up my inability to move my hand fast enough with a heavy pick,

1mm is my pick of choice. I like em thick because you can really work the dynamics.

i still havn't had the chance to a/b the foxx, but the sabbath stacks really great with it

I have two dynamics: muted or not (which is most of the time). That's it. I only got two speeds too...fast or slow..don't know what BPM or anything (twas different when I was in a band though...I kinda followed the drums sometimes). If I ever get talent, I will try it out

Grabbed my VI, slapped on the neck PU, cranked the sustain knob, rolled back the "mellow/brite" knob and struck the low E... I'm serious, that note droned for well over 90 seconds.
