Chankgeez wrote:That's awesome news, jwar. It would definitely add the more control I was looking for. If that's the case, I may have to pick up another Sandstorm.

New stuff?

I'm so stoked for new LAL. He always seems to do something unique/specialized with his designs. Like, what does that reverb even sound like?

I've got another Misty Cave question:

Is it supposed to emit a whine throughout most of the range while using an expression pedal?

I'm using a Moog EP-2.

Thanks, Nora, at least now I know I'm not alone.

I just didn't know if it's normal or not. :snax:

... and, Syl, we talked about that Ripplet a couple pages ago.

Ripplet's way more rare than any Klon. :D

Just pulled this from the LAL site:
Hifofumi wrote: As for the expression pedal to connect the "CV PEDAL" jack, the "Roland EV-5"* can control the full range of the "D.TIME".

*Please note that the "MOOG EP1" is suitable for the model built before mid September 2013.
Don't know exactly what that means for me though. :wha?:

Not sure, but I think the EV-5 has a 10K pot and the EP-2 has a 50K pot.

UncleGrandfather wrote:Also I got a reply from LAL regarding expression pedals

100k ohm for sick pitch king jr, Tone axe, cyber psychic
10k ohm for Super oscillo, toxic plant, misty cave

He mentions the moog ep-2 for 100k ohm, and Roland ev-5 for 10k ohm

I use an EV-5 on mine, no bleed noise at all.
