I have an old Ampeg SR4 Pa Head that rules, really nice spring reverb too. If you push the pre on these things all sorts of goofy shit comes out of it.

Yes! It is a very loud and old 100 solid state watts. I actually plug a Tech21 VT pre into the loop, bypassing the weird pre section.

That was exactly my first thought.
Would be perfect for my psuedo-Black Cobra-meets-Eagle Twin two peice dream rig.

I'd call it Twin Business Cobras in the Field of Om, the Brotherhood.
Or some shit.

Only price I could find put it at around 500GBP. There is a 300w model, so I guess that'd be cheaper.
But......500W.
The blend function sounds particularly appealing and the EQ is pretty bossco, so I reckon it would definitely be a contender for a guit head.

Hopefully the O-Bass doesn't change too much for production. It looks very 60s in a rad way.

yeah so in Oz, it will be about $1400!

yeah the blend is cool...I use to have a Bass Big Muff and that had a kind of blend with the switch...and on guitar is was really nice and thick.

If i get a big enough place to have a big room in the house/flat to myself, this and an electric drum kit could be in my future...1 man band!

Pretty much, yeah, the dollar is fast slipping away, as well.
May have to hang out for a second hand one on the cheap.

That sounds pretty cool with the muff blend.
I was thinking of splitting my signal so that the Ape Blaster hit the AOR, then if I can afford it before they disappear, I'd run a Boneshaker for bass distortion.
The natural dirt on that OB1 is pretty nice, though.

I too, need space. Like an abandoned mountain monastery or something.
