haha! thx man. I hear the "just strum a chord thing" I've notice some that sometimes when my friends have been playing it I'm thinking "just let a note ring out for a second."

a wise man once told me that silence is the greatest technique a musician can master. that is the art of knowing when to not play.

Thanks to the creator of this thread i had to get one of those!
Good for you since i was already able to do a demo video for this baby.
The Built quality is outstanding, the sound of this pedal is pristine and the options are nearly endless.
Probably the best first release from a new pedal builder i have ever seen.
Enjoy the clip, especially the looping part came super nice.

That demo sounds great. See this is why I didn't want to do a demo. Your demo will actually drive sales while mine would drive them....away. Joel seems like a nice guy and I couldnt do that to him

Hi Kayzer, thanks for the demo!
Weird though, in your video, especially on the lower rpm settings, it seems to me the effect is very subtle and the depth doesn't seem to be going as extreme as in Joel's own videos, is there a difference or did you just set it up differently? (it's a bit hard to see with the preset toggles and all)

You are exactly right... think about it in terms of an actual warped record. the faster you play it, it is actually going to modulate pitch more.... if you slow it way down the amount of physical "warp" is the same, but the pitch modulation will be less.
*EDIT* it also depends on the wave shape... if you have a square wave... the rpm is irrelevant because the pitch change is very fast.

I have not recorded anything yet (should do it this coming WE), but I wanted to confirm that the Warped Vinyl works nicely with the Env. OUT of the Moog Freqbox as delineated earlier in this thread and nicely with the EHX 8 Step too.
Using the Empress MIDIbox, the 8 Step (plugged into the MIDIbox Thru ouput) and the Warped Vinyl can be synced to different subdivisions of a master tempo and the fun begins... (8 step modulating the depth to create some rhythmic patterns, 8 step modulating the mix to go from a vibrato to a chorus sound in sequence, or obth or more or etc.)
I'm in love!
Tonight I'll try it in LO-FI mode in the loop of the Koma BD-101 with the Koma FT-201 in HP mode. Should sound like a warped Vinyl on an old dusty gramophone lost in a time warp...
