This isn't helping my gas any, I think I might actually succumb to this one eventually. The only Strymon I have so far is the El Capistan, which I love, I've thought about the Timeline but I just seems kind of unnecessary to me. The Bigsky however feels like something I might actually need.

This. I love my El Cap, but never felt the need for a bunch of different delays when the El Cap was the sound that I really wanted.
Having a bunch of different reverbs, however, I feel like could actually use in some context.

i get all the hate for the TGP'erish shtuff connected to Strymon.... but for me. well, i never liked delay on bass. the TimeLine was a revelation. not only did i find a bunch of normal modeled stuff that i adored 'cause i didn't have to remember how it was setup to dial it back in, but all the wacky modes and odd stuff you can do with it is beautiful. there's 2 or 3 models that i dunno if are going to sound different live, but then 5 that can get so weird and crazy if you dial the delay time to zero and use it as a straight ahead effect.

i'm hoping the Butt Sky works out the same way for me.

they WAY fixed the Dealing With A Massive Influx Of Orders issue too. i ordered mine a week or two after the preorder started? and they got it on a truck the next day. should be here tomorrow. WOOT.

Yeah. Honestly I don't get why some of the people on TCP would even be into these. I listened to a demo of a guy who tried to play like blues with it and it just didn't work honestly (obviously was fine on the normal modes but a lot of the weird ones he just didn't seem to get along with).

I use their stuff for like shoegaze music, psychedelic stuff, and horror soundtrack work. Itsnperfecf for that

P&W dude. Heaven is just like, endless reverb. With shimmer and trails.
Good deals on ILF: too many to list, just ask!

Yeah the whole time I was thinking...I dunno if this is the pedal for you...but yeah I get why P&W guys would like the big sky a lot. Makes sense. Ambient of course, too. Obviously the normal reeverbs sound great too so I will probably use it on jazz and indie rock/art rock type stuff too. Blues...maybe not lol

Chorale mode seems like it was crafted for TGP P&W guys specifically.

I play at my church (though I wouldn't claim P&W guy status) and if I ever hear someone use that chorale I will strike them down.
But I also dislike shimverb.

My friend received his yesterday and just brought it by so I could check it out.

WOWZERS!!! I didn't even make it beyond Magneto or Nonlinear modes. Those two rule so hard. I can't imagine how many cool sounds are in this pedal. So many. The Spring is cool too although I only checked out a couple presets, one called 'Trashy' that's really flipping excellent!

Magneto is what I am most stoked for, basically a binson delay with the ability to have slurr the sound into reverb
