Getting excited about this, AND it's idiot proof. That'll suit me fine.

Hells yeah! I'm willing to build a few if ya'll dont mind it being built by an idiot. I'll try to do it Nick style, But i'm not nick

My wiring tends to be... functional?
Seriously though, I'd be down to do a few for anyone that needs it. PNW area peoples preferred for cheap shipping but really anywhere is ok.

I think I might be in on this too. I've been wanting a new fuzz, but I've also been wanting a booster... How well would this circuit work with an input gain control; or would that basically be like giving it a regular volume control?

That would be like using your guitar volume to adjust the input, it will decrease gain/clipping as your turn down the signal.

I can also build one for any body who needs it. I'm in NYC so I guess I could do any east coast guys since the west coast is covered.

So it wouldn't really make the pedal any better at providing cleanish volume boosts?
I saw this video, and was convinced it was a brilliant idea, but looking at it again, it doesn't look like it gives much in the way of volume boost...

The Muff Overdrive is also a completely different pedal to this project.

I understand that completely. I was just curious if the concept would work, and clearly it won't have the same response with this circuit. Not that it's bad, I would just need another pedal to get my boost on.
