I releved some gas by picking up a MIDI cable and some cheap patch cables today. I feel a little better now.

I'm tempted. Don't know for sure what I would use it for though. Practicing and songwriting maybe. But that seems hardly enough to justify getting one.

That's essentially all I use it for. I lose hours just throwing down backing tracks and soloing over them. However, I couldn't really see using it in a live setting. I still haven't brought it along to any jams though.
