either he's an awful person that brought this on himself and is trying to do damage control now, or he's a guy that handled a situation in a bunch of wrong ways. i choose to believe that he's the latter, and hope that he's learned you have to be careful how you treat customers.

Ah, so he's removed that bullshit "less 30%" refund policy? Or at least ammended it so that FAULTY goods can get a full refund? If not, than I would say that nothing has been learned.

that.... i disagree with it, and if i saw that on a site i would not order from someone. but that's his prerogative. it's his business. personally, i think it's a bad choice. but who cares? the way i express that is by not purchasing stuff from a builder that does that. as long as i know going in that's his policy, then it's an honest situation.

i am SO not trying to tell someone how to run their business. if someone asked, i would give them advice. if someone were selling something i was interested i might ask why they have that policy and then tell them why that's off-putting. but he runs his business how he wants to. with how much self-employed owners get fucked on taxes and licenses and all, one of the few steadfast perks of owning your own business is doing things your way.
