I'm just poking a stick with the stereo thing - although it is true that I don't run stereo, I don't mind if fx are stereo enabled. That said there were some really valid things raised earlier in the thread before I dicked it up.

I want more analog through-zero flangers out there. The fact that there's really only two in the world really annoys me. The fact that Moog made a flanger without making it through-zero REALLY disappointed me, they usually don't go halfway on their pedals.

I'm not an analog-snob either, I love digital effects. But I've tried most of the digital flangers and they just can't do the through-zero thing right. Although I still haven't tried the Strymon yet. I just haven't see a used one for sale for a decent price.

Used Mod Zeros aren't too uncommon, and Jack Deville/Mr. Black makes the Tunnelworm Flanger if you want something new? :idk:

People assuming that boutique is naturally better, even though I've heard some that sound absolutely woeful by comparison to their mass produced (and therefore less cool) 'equivalent'

I can't find a single clip of someone playing the Mod Zero where they actually do any through-zero flanging. Maybe every single person who demo'd it doesn't know how to use it, but I'm skeptical until I can hear it do that cancellation "slurp" at the zero point.

Now, the Tunnelworm sounds like it can really do it. I was only able to find that one prototype clip, but I can't wait to check it out.

The Dano reverse delay's crazy price trips me out. Why are people buying that shit for $200-300 instead of ANY other delay that does reverse and more?

because everyone wants a dedicated reverse delay? :idk:

It's difficult to explain, I'll type it up later.

Here is an earlier post when I explained it.

what i want to see disappear for awhile:

shimmer verb
oscillating fuzz
envelope filters with twenty knobs
clean boosts
re-rubs of Tone Benders that cost $300
loopers with only 20 or 30 seconds of loop time

Cause it sounds really really good, like amazingly what the fuck good...
Also to get a delay with reverse and others you kinda have to get a delay that does like EVERYTHING, superdelay etc or the reverse delay is super half assed, won't go full wet without modding. It's like the one unique good danelectro pedal but I don't get why the wasabi isn't the one people want cause it totally has the same reverse but with tap tempo which people seem to like for some reason.
