My favorite is using the long delay setting with lots of feedback and blending in so that the dry signal is just a bit louder and just basking in the washed-out noisiness

Get an NF-1, mod a few components and you have an SG-1 -- they used the same board just wired up backwards.
One costs $400, the other $50

I think Dan Auerbach uses it on that one super awesome sounding part in Tighten Up. Or maybe it a PH2

My DM-2 is favourite delay I've ever played without a doubt.
I had a DD-20, but it sort of confused me. Wicked pedal though.
All the boss stuff I've had has been decent, except the RC-2 I had. That thing was just awful. I have no idea how people use them.
There's a few more boss pedals I'd like to try, but I really don't see why everyone hates them.
The only thing I really hate, are the prices. Some of their stuff is crazy expensive new!
It doesn't retain it's value at all used either, which is good and bad. I think I sold my DD-20 for about half the new price.
They really do make, like everyone else, some awful pedals though.

With extra footswitches.
I'm kind of over looping though.

You really need the external footswitch for the RC-2, though I haven't been using mine recently.
