I decided to do this right. Guitar and bass pedalboard in action. It's gross, fuzzy, and improvisation. But I liked it. :p

Guitar

Bass

The chains went GSD Mini Fuzz - POG2 - Octave Fuzz - SS/BS Mini - GSD Small Echo - GSD Phaser on guitar, Danelectro Trem on bass - Hardwire RV-7 - Line 6 DL4 for looping - SS/BS Mini (for mangling)
I might do a few more of these just to have some fun. You never know what sounds you'll get.

After spending some time checking these vids/tracks out, I feel like getting my feet wet and plunging in!

this demo was done when I tried playing around with my Pitch Pirate and Clair-not together.
all improv/drone.....just experimenting for a short film score...
I really dig hearing what you guys come up with here. Kinda feel oddly comfortable putting something like this up rather than say a tune from one of my bands.
I have loads more demos (just sound) maybe if I get brave (stoned?) I will put more up.

Here's a demo I did with a backwards Bass sound and Guitars delayed with slide.
All my stuff I record with my little marshall or direct in through a yamaha board.
I have been doing almost like a journal of ideas for the past 2 months so I have lots of these to share....
If anyone is interested, and also b/c this place has FUZZ in its title I figured my next one would be DIRTY.
So last night I set up my Overlord overdrive/RRR/Wiio. I havent used my Overlord in years b/c it was so dirty (bad kind)
but now that ugly dirt/static/noize is doing wonders....coming soon!~

This is the dirt here now......DIRT I say.
this is me just riffing and making some annoying squeals/dissonance
I think it gets kinda melvins/black flag at times, esp when I pretend to be Greg Ginn there at the end..

My pedal maybe just fucked up (Overlord)?
If it is, I dont want to fix it. First time I used it in maybe 8 years.
Hope Im not annoying anyone, tell you what would LOVE to start a band with you guys here.

Kinda going a bit cracked with all my Dirt here guys, so sorry to keep bashing away here,
but I did another Wiio + Overlord riff thing. I wanna make this into a tune. Now I need to get a bass player and drummer...

ahaha
ahahahah
hahahahahh
yeah
what gear are you using and how did you record this? damn son

NEVARMIND
I found it
I used a Fender MIM Jazz Bass, A Hartke HA2000 head setup for a boost centered on 250hz with a cut around 2khz, a Hartke 410xl cab, miced with an off-axis Shure SM57.

Damn, Hartke is surprising.
Love that Jazz-Rat thing going on. I pull a similar crunch through teh Rusty Box and my P warwick streamer. I love it.

I love this thread.
I have an idea that could be fun for we that enjoy demo'n pedals either by vid or just audio.
We could do our own takes on our Fav bands/artists type homage. I know this has been done before im sure, '
instead of throwing in a Nirvana or Black sabbath riff, the combination of pedals/sounds could make you play something that reminds you of a certain album or song.
I did a "demo" that has a Jon Scofield vibe, particular to "A go go"
Im a fan and kind of used that for inspiration while fooling around.
p.s Im still new to soundcloud AND message boards....but having fun none the less.

This is really cool! Very different from what I usually listen to but i like it a lot!

Here's a video of what will be a pedal board for my other band. Tonight I had a lot of faux Earth and Dead Man-ish Neil Young stuff going on, but that's just because I am kinda sad. Usually this should be a fun ripping off heads by abhorrent volume board. I have two more pedals on the way that will go on here. A Roland Bee Baa clone that Ian of Ghost Effects is building for me and The DBA Kill Kill Filter. There will be LOTS more head ripping tones in there when these guys arrive. Damn! It is going to be so good. And it eased me through the evening that I had hoped would be quite different.

The video is still being processed. I could not wait.

^ very cool. I like the part when you hit whatever is at the front of the chain and the delay. That delay is super dreamy.

But I really need a pair of those shoes.. Where did you get them?
