I just ordered one from Thomann and probably receives it during next week. A friend of mine has already received his Jaguar from the same place.

The thing is that i play a lot with clean CLEAN sound and hence i need my guitar to have a good clean sound. I know a lot of shitty guitars can sound fine with fuzz on, but when clean, they're dull and just dead
on the other hand... the CV Squiers are awesome, the Mascis is said to be very good...
i'm just afraid of dull and dead woods

i still kinda want it though
and i'm aware that that's what she said

i scored a sonic blue jazzmaster on wednesday and it is really worth the $299! same feel as my CIJ jaguar and the pickups are really nice for a squier. the only changes i made was adding a mustang bridge and a buzzstop, cause thats how i roll. the original bridge is the only cheap part of these guitars in my opinion. i might add an american tremolo cause i use the shit out the trem bar, but the stock is fine. i'll upload some pics if i got time later. get one they kick ass!!

viewtopic.php?f=188&t=26832Check out my review and demos. I prefer the pickups to my CIJ Jag's and my old CP Jag's.
My CAR Jag and Sonic Blue JM shipped out this morning. Hoping for Monday or Tuesday!

Indeed. I caught that review post on mobile and the soundcloud stuff didn't show. Listened for the first time last night. Wow. Those sounds definitely work for me. Even the usually maligned bass-strangled sounds.
Might need to break edge on household budget.

Second Jag and the Jazzmaster shipped yesterday - Should get to me early this week. I'll do the same kind of review for each. I might omit the demos on the red Jag. It will likely sound identical to the Surf Green one, so it kind of defeats the purpose. Unless there's some weird difference between them.
I think the best thing to do would be demo it through fuzz pedals, as that's all I'm missing from the initial review.
The Sonic Blue Jazzy will get the full treatment though.

YESYESYES

i still have no idea whether i'd want a Jazzy or a Jag O.o
but i compared the HH Squier VM Jag today and a CP fender and i've got a VERY GOOD FEELING about them squiers

Just ordered a sonic blue jazzmaster. Hopefully it'll get here before the weekend so I can get some time to set it up before practice.

I think I'm going to get the mustang as soon as they get them in at musicians friend. It's killing me trying to figure out which one to get.
