I had a copy of Three Ragas i got from a bargain bin for ninety-nine cents that served me well. many years later i was working with a DJ who was scratching off a copy of that album, which made me LOL.

Anthrax - Persistence of Time was what broke me from my Elementary School tasted of Vanilla Ice and Allan Jackson. Thank you, Anthrax.
Less Than Jake's Hello Rockview is what really put me on the path I'm still going down. AND.....odd mention...Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique had a huge effect on me classically.
