Better than a normal bigot.

First off, Billy blows her off a little bit about her pedals not all being perfect for him but he's still getting her to build him one and he never really says he won't use the new one live/on an album.
It seems like she took this like a 2 year old (maybe i would too?) and got a little pissy and had an issue from the get go that had nothing to do with personal insults, simply a picky ass guitarist telling it like it is, from his opinion. I can't blame Billy for anything here...
Next, Billy agrees to be interviewed by some religious guy (Monte) on a regular basis and answer questions yada yada yada... This causes a HUGE commotion on a Pumpkins board because Monte doesn't support gay marriage and is in fact against it. Devi jumps in and slanders the hell out of Billy for supporting this guy by doing interviews with him. The general vibe there is that anyone who isn't 100% for gay marriage should burn in hell and is ruining every gay person's life.
still seems like Billy did no wrong. he has opinions, which apparently include not supporting gay marriage and that is perfectly fine. I am fine with gay marriage personally. I'm not a die hard advocate, but i see no harm. it's important to remember, however, that while it's great to be passionate about your beliefs you can't ever expect to force your views upon others. if there's one golden rule of humanity, it should be that you can't hate someone because they have a different viewpoint than you. IT'S HEALTHY!!! as long as we act like humans and adults and realize that people grow up with different experiences, influences, etc. then we should be able to accept the fact that they won't think like us. as long as someone isn't directly causing harm/pain on someone then it's ok. that's why we have a democracy, laws, courts etc to determine if someone's doing that. if you can't handle the fact that some people don't always agree with you, move to a dictatorship where the dictator shares every view you do. you clearly don't want to live in a free and democratic society.
Then Billy reads this post form devi who, for all we know, is someone he is still excited to be working with but he's opinionated and offended her a little and maybe he's too busy to email here and he loses it. Posts crazy shit on his twitter account, sends threatening emails etc...
this is obviously where i start to disagree with Billy haha... even assuming the best case scenario, that he loves the pedal he made her and thinks a lot of her work, it is still no excuse to respond that way to her dissing you. i support IN NO WAY the comments he made and find them despicable. he clearly is borderling insane and in the past has proven this. however, she did say some offensive ass shit that i find somewhat equally ignorant and uncalled for. when has trying to force your views on anyone in history ended well? i'm talking when neither side was physically or mentally seriously harming the other at first...
Anyways, i think they're both acting like 2 year olds but in all fairness... in the playground mentality we have at times... devi started it. she slandered the guy for having an opinion that he has every right to have. i agree for taking a stance in what you believe in but she went far beyond that. she went straight to personal attacks that at times had nothing to do with the issue at hand and she has continued to do so.
that's my rant...
pretty sure i know what's coming next...

This post is on the money.

No man that makes you a "PC Bigot" and part of the war on christmas and reverse-discrimination.

discrimination against discrimination is something i'd argue to be morally in the right.
i'm sure none of you like/truly tolerate nazis.
promoting "absolute tolerance" is just a tool that people who ARE bigots use to falsely call out people who try to be tolerant, when intolerance of intolerance happens, you attempt to eradicate intolerance, therefore more tolerance.
they have the right to say gay marriage is gay, and i will exercise my right to call them a backwards sexist fuckwad with the mentality of an 80 year old baptist preacher who hates the world almost as much as himself and should logically have no real gravity to his own opinion, let alone actually have it in the first place, because times change and in this instance the past should be left to rot and die.

We should launch a Kickstarter project for the plane ticket fund to accomplish this.
Yes please.
But seriously now, this whole thing is a bit of a conundrum. There's only 2 parties involved, and we are only hearing from one of them. Not the best situation, if you ask me, we should just stay away from this subject, if you want to join me, that's cool, if not, whatever bro. If you're looking for me, I'll be in Gear looking at fuzz pedals.
