Can't seem to get over 180 lbs. 200 has been my goal for months now.

Hi guys. My name is Lucas and I have a problem.
Sorry- just wanted to make a dramatic entrance into this threat

My problem is I have recently been gaining weight like crazy... It has come to my attention because when I looked in the mirror I noticed that I was starting to get the double-chin going
My problem is- I can't really work out... the standard things like running, jogging, hiking, cycling and stuff... I can't do it because of a motorcycle accident I had over a year ago.. my right knee is injured. The only sport I can do is swimming... but only for about 10 mins at a time because then my knee is starting to hurt again...
I want to loose about 5 to 10 kg. just to get rid of that chubby fat.. I like not being super slim and having a little bit of extra fat
Sooo.. long post is long i know...

but to get to the point here is my starting data:
Size: 1,86m (yeah metric system I know... europe...

)
Weight: 88kg

Have you tried swimming with just your arms? Just let your legs trail behind you.
Aside from that, you can do plenty of weight based upper body exercises using a bench (I strongly advise using a bench as opposed to standing positions, to prevent the added weight from putting more stress on your knee). You can even do cardio type exercises using only your upper body and a medicine ball (anywhere from 8-15 lbs would be a good starting point depending on your fitness level).
And - of course - diet.

I would agree on the arm swimming as well as doing some weight based stuff,
You can do some pretty good high rep type exercises with light weights that would be good for arms and shoulders and burn some calories. Even a few pounds and some shadow boxing would help!
I know that it is probably not the easiest thing to do but it also sounds like you gotta rehab that knee a bit.

+1 on shadow boxing. My dad said that helped him back when he was rehabbing from two torn ACLs

How's everyone doing?
I'm currently cutting my carb intake down a lot, putting a big focus on abs, and doing extreme rep strength/endurance training.

Doing all right. The diet alone is working pretty well - as of last week, I was down 14 lbs from mid-July, which isn't too bad. Definitely skewed things last night - it was my wife's birthday, so we went out for fancy dinner & drinks. Definitely not on the diet. That's aight, though.
I am thinking of maybe possibly conceivably stepping it up and enrolling in a crossfit class.

Crossfit is sweet, unfortunately the only places near me run at times that aren't do-able.

Yeah, apparently there's a place near me that has it 7 days a week at a variety of times. And the folks who endorsed it are pretty much on the same track I am (didn't used to worry about our weight, never worked out very much, just starting to take care of this kind of biz), and have been doing really well with it.

http://www.chaosandpain.com/Lots of good info there about weight lifting and strength training ^
Warning: The guy is a little bit of an asshole. But, he's also extremely knowledgeable, and his use of technical jargon with equal heapings of profanity can be pretty funny.
Excerpt:
Commandment #4 "You can lift more often, and heavier than you think, fuckface."

Doing poorly hate to make excuses, just a crazy work schedule and tons of at the desk snacking
need to remember to pack vegetables and dip into the candy bowl less
physically I feel stronger and healthier because I have been doing sheet rock at home plus cleaning up flood debris around town but Lungs and gut are still at bad places
