didn't mean to target you, but in response to that, I just think you were using this as an excuse to go off on some intellectual, sociological analysis of a tangent is all
(though I'll probably end up doing the same, e-brain flexing through this post)
to suggest that shes just a naturally, sexual or sensual person and is expressing that in her videos and pictures for, say, a more innocent purpose of self fulfillment is just silly imo
(that's how I interpreted that part of your post)

also, I don't think anyone is prude or uptight here, especially when considering sex alone
however, sex as advertising, as a tool of marketing inspires a much stronger reaction (whether positive or negative), as is intended
definitely not the only thing worth discussing about these videos, but its being pushed so hard on the viewer (along with the rest of this FBG identity/brand) that not bringing attention to it would be ignorant

also, not sure what you're getting at: "but can you blame her?"

Oh,no offenses taken on my end, man! Now for rebuttal:
Sure,I do think Americans are a bit more puritanical in regards to sex than they are to violence, especially vs. Western Europe. And I wasn't necessarily "seeking" to flex my intellectual/sociological muscle. I just made an observation while reading thru the posts. (I'm a 10th grade AND college dropout  ) I do feel it's a neat spin on what may have become a tired art form(gear demos),but I certainly realize that she will have her critics.
That said, yeah, sex sells. I see the schtick factor here. It's undeniable. And from the lips down, she's pretty hawt. If ya got it,why not flaunt it? So that's why the "can you blame her"... And I didn't think you were targetting me,specifically. But you kind of debated my stance,as well as that of others, which is why I responded :) Man,I love a good debate without resulting in a shitstorm! Forumites take note :poke: :poke:

It's not about playing devil's advocate. Someone went to her youtube channel and invited her here, she came here and signed up, and now people are shitting on her for no reason. It just feels like it's contrary to the whole ILF "don't be a dick" theme.

Had no idea ilfrs invited her here, though whats this dont be a dick rule? it seems to be just the opposite lately
:hello: fuzzboxgirl, if you are being real sorry lol
also I agree bloog re america vs the rest of the 'west', and do appreciate your obversation, this whole FBG thing just has me edgey and cynical ;)
glad no harm was done through our discussion, and wish I had someone to talk to about this in person! so much is lost over the internet
this whole ILF inviting her, being jerks, then discussing the whole situation and building hype (I definitely added some fuel to that fire), all with her as a bystander adds another interesting level
makes for a great drama :snax:

My new goal in life is to win the sensual demo market back for the boys.

I can see it now... lights dimmed, goblet of dark red wine gently shaking with the tones, coily cable wrapped around my junk.

Oh, it will be grand.

The "Don't be an asshole" clause(which is the main rule of ILF,as mandated bvy our esteemed board administrator,Mr. Dalton) was once stickied in the General Discussion forum,I believe. Not sure if it still is,but I think many of us would agree that it needs to be.
And,yeah, aussy, opinions will differ. But the constant here is,a love of fuzz, gear, and a sense of community(for me,at least),so I'd hardly get heated over a bit of friendly banter/debating.
And yr absolutely right that there's been some bad vibes floating around(especially in General). While we all love fuzz,we don't all agree on politics,philosophy/religion,whatever. That's what we all have to come to terms with if we are to grow and flourish as an online community. Discussing these differences doesn't have to get ugly. I think we did a good job of proving that. :thumb:

That's kinda how I felt.

Oh! I would totally subscribe to those. I'd probably go as far as downloading them and putting them on my iPod for impulse consumption.

Much wisdom you have. I think that's a big reason why so many people get annoyed (at times myself included) when people sign up just so they can pawn off their fuzz pedals, or spam whatever slightly relevant thing they have going on at the moment. This is the only forum that actually feels like an online community to me. People just signing up would have no idea how we are one huge dysfunctional e-family, but it does feel a little like the door-to-door salesman trying to sell you life insurance when you have a bunch of friends over to hang out and party when it happens. I also appreciate that even though my views may cause me to feel like the minority at times, I'm glad I don't have to worry about people getting banned and threads being locked/deleted if we decide to discuss our differences. ILF FOR LIFE!!! :animal:

Exactly my point.
Why would Premier Guitar interview someone who has 900 views on YouTube?
Why would someone with 900 views on YouTube offer a full line of T-Shirts and Coffee mugs bearing their "likeness"?

I don't think it's about the gear at all. I think it's about trying to make yourself "internet famous" for free shit and ad dollars. :idk:

Agreed.
