Yea, I mean..I got what you meant..you dislike her voice..I was just saying, I've never heard her before, so I guess I was curious to know what it is about her voice that you dislike so much..

StudioShutIn, I just don't think she has a very good singing voice. "'Cross The Breeze" exemplifies what I'm talking about. She kinda strains to hit notes and stuff. I appreciate that her style is different but to me that song would be better either instrumental or if the singing was improved...the "unpolished" singing fits that song, but I just don't like her singing -- it's grating to me.

Whatever, I mean, it's not terrible or unlistenable. I like the raw style too, not trying to say that "good vocals" means you gotta have a voice that drops people to their knees in awe.

Also Lee songs > Thurston songs in terms of vocals :idk:

Agreed. They've all got their own thing going on, which I love, but I have to admit that I've always liked Lee's vocals best out of the three.

I used to smoke Newports,...now I smoke Newpoles,....I mean American Spirits. Their elitist AND FUCKING 10 GODDAMN DOLLARS A PACK. I used to roll my own too but got sick of sucking down little bits of loose tobacco.

Newports were like an east coast,...black people thing. Damn they were good though.
