Plus it will allow you to get used to not having them around anymore. If you want them back, they'll be returned (harmed, but no worse for wear), and if you find you're able to let them go I'll keep whoever pleases me. I might have stuff about that could work for your small board too if you want to make it a temp trade thing.

i'd be fine with that. Erukus has my Poly, the Pitch just headed out to Danno, so i'll probably have the 3 back to ship your way in about a week or two.

murrrr. appreciate the Loaner Offer, but i'm actually pretty set. i lust a bit for a Mobius, gonna order one next week, but i think the second board is set. don't want it to be that big anyhoo.

I think I want a Flashback X4....

The thing is fucking huge and I don't even use delay traditionally. I use my EAD4096 on infinite feedback mode to get oozing awesome washy feedback through notes. It's more about the echo than the delay for me. My band is heading in this direction tonally and I'm loving it.

Thinking on the Flashback though - it has a few ambient, echo based settings. It has some modulation sounds. It does toneprints. It dig the hell out of the idea of using the looper live....and I have just enough space for it on my board :joy:

Any thoughts? Anything better out there in the worlds of echo and ambient (under $300ish)?

Your demos are really great man. Be using them as a point of research for a while now.

Have you messed around with the Endangered Audio 4096 or Gristleizer? Just think that they are really interesting pedals that would be huge with good dirt sounds.

Could the world handle two Behndys?

I'm pretty impressed by the Super P too. Until I read up on them in more detail, I always thought they were ultra-fancy. I can see how the design is more about function now though.

Yeah, mine's not all that fancy for the most part. The only overly fancy thing are the black pearl fretboard and side dots that I didn't even notice until a few weeks in. For a full size bodied 5 string Pbass is shockingly light and well balanced. I also really dig the passive tone control that when you roll it up it scoops the mids and when you roll it down acts a treble roll off like normal. I'm in lurve.

I do indeed have the 4096 that I picked up over the summer. It's on the list for a demo. TOO MUCH SHIT I GOTTA DO but it's coming. Promise.

Why do people on TB go onto a thread about a particular product and then say "I think I would rather get this other brand"???

I could do that for every mainstream product discussed on there. I could drop a giant turd in the Fender apologists forum by listing 29 better options....but the only reason I would do that is -

A) I'm planted on there to drum up interest for another company.
B) I'm a douche who thinks my opinion will sway the masses.
C) I dislike the brand or builder in question.

Cool!

The EAD on infinite mode is my favorite delay type sound of all time. It kills with overdrive or fuzz too.
