You'd think that but with DBA circuits being the way they are
it wasn't so simple. The default path is actually full fuzz and there's some weird circuitry to cut it out for the clean delay. Regardles

I'm of the belief that an 8-input mixer is nearly always worth the increased size/real estate.
Of course that's for home usage. I just got a cheap-ass Behringer Xenyx 502 for those noise shows where I only use 2 channels...
