I'm excited. This is the first recorded material I've ever put out.

The lyrics weren't finalized. They're pretty different but the basic songs are the same. We kind of recorded this on a whim and I wasn't finished writing. I had to make it easier to play and sing at the same time

Vocals were cool. This is a compliment -> Got Guy Picciotto vibes to the vocals.

Now, taking the piss, I liked your guitar tones so don't flip anything for a while

My rig was CP Jazzmaster - Green ringer - percolator - DD-7 - Mini - cheap belton reverb turned way down low - direct into the recorder. The mini and reverb acted like an amp basically. Always on at mild settings. Worked pretty well actually.

Yes it did. Stick to your perc and mini combo. It seems to be working (I mean..sounds good to me!).
Actually...I might steel that combo (Perc + Drive (or fuzz turned way down) + Belton Reverb -> 4 Track)

The perc and mini combo is awesome, I just want one more thing extra hugeness. Just not sure what.

Or I can use the mini for hugeness and something else for low gain.

Such a good idea. I have an RM-1 and I'm thinking could just use that into 4-Track. I feel like a dumby though, like "why didn't I think of that"

I'll ask my bass player if he did anything special to make it sound good.

Thanks for the kind words dudes! I've been writing like crazy. We have 6 or so songs finished and 3 or 4 more that we just need to sit down and finish. We're planning on playing our first show soon. We've been playing together for 7 or 8 months I think? We're going to be extremely prepared for that show
