Dr. Martens Durhams, thought I'd give them a try.

More is good!
the sell off has started
listed about 10 pairs last night
Not sure I can get down to 50, but that is the goal at this point

Ok I need suggestions. I need two new pairs of shoes. One for working out (lifting) and one for being at home and other places.
My shoes are smashed to shit and they don't offer support anymore. That's what I get for leg pressing and squatting.
So what's a good couple pairs?
I don't have flat feet or anything, so no worries on that front.

do you like a pretty minimal shoe when you lift?
or do you want something with cushioning?
I have been working out in the nike zoom SpeedTR2 but I don't lift a ton
very stable shoe good grip and looks good everywhere
For running and such (i know you don't run a ton) the nike free 2.0 and 4.0 are my favorites currently
Flyknit 4.0 in a ton of sweet colors are only 50 right now at most foot lockers too
also: What size shoe do you wear?

Since I mentioned this in a thread in general, here they are.
Almost like these:
but the striped pattern is different, there's no "Circa" logo on the side, and the "Circa" on the bottom is white. I can't find an exact pic of mine online tho.
Ridiculously comfy, and they were practically new (no wear, no feet smell (still sprayed them with some disinfectant spray to be safe...), etc) for $3 a few months ago.

Also I need to get a new pair of rubber boots.. my old pair just split at the toe cap

Noice.
Deets? (Sorry, missed the reveal, thread comprehension lacking)
For muck boots on the pharm, I like the OG Muckboot Co jawn, but they're spendy. Tingley wo4k just fine for most apps. One thinb about me and rubber boots: too heavy duty a boot or too much time in-boot = nasty stankfoot.

Yeah, it definitely is. When I was looking for a better image of the ones I have, I saw one site where the same series of shoes is going for $55. That much of a discount on like-new shoes?

Is there a separate sock thread yet? Or is that okay to discuss in here?
I've been wearing nothing but wool socks for 10+ years and I could never fathom going back to regular stinky cotton! Cool in the summer, warm in the winter, you can wear them several times before the funk rises necessitating cleansing, and they last for years and years!
The only thing better might be
might be alpaca socks. Holy living fuck what a pleasure to them feets! But I usually only wear those at home. They are almost
too comfortable for daily wearing. I don't want to spoil myself too much, sometimes I think my life's
minor first world struggle is what makes me creative...

Wool socks are superior!
Only wear wool socks to work. Probably should invest in some casual wool socks as well.

I don't know that I have had a pair of wool socks on since I was about 12
Is it that good?
