Question: is it totally awful to get a Mexican charra style chest piece (a la Danny Trejo) of a curendera when you are neither in a gang nor Mexican but this thing has meaning to you?

There is this dude in Stockholm, Johan Svan. Does killer Japanese stuff. I drool over his IG a lot But given how much I travel in Asia there is no way I'd get anything like that done, just because of the risk of signifying something I don't intend to signify.

I used to work with Japanese people who lived in Australia for fucking decades and when I started getting my sleeve done they all thought I'd joined the Yakuza.
No shit.

And Japanese tattoos have sort of become a staple now, so maybe my white guy take on the thing won't be so bad.
Our Anniversary date is November the 1st, so I'm calling that in for significance.

Ok, so our appointment got canned last week but we rescheduled for today.
My 3 and 5 year old got to see what a tattoo shop looks like.
They were more interested in Pokémon.

That's rad dude.
Surprised the shop didn't have a problem with the kids, seems like every one here has a sign up stating no kids allowed.

They have a waiting area, so there was no behind the counter adventure for them.
The owner has kids, our artist has a kid and I think a lot of them were understanding.
Plus I took them out for a walk while my wife got zapped and then we tag teamed for my turn.

Wait, sorry, but I have to ask: you don't like tattoos yet you got a large arm tattoo?

I believe that I will be getting two tattoos this year. One will be a set of harmonic sine waves on the inside of my upper right arm. The other will be the distinct pattern of dots on my dogs nose tattooed on my left wrist.

Yeah, it was a "fuck it" type of situation where I had no control of my life and I was into alcohol for fun, oh, and got a facebook account too! lol
But I don't mind since I always wear long sleeves.
