Sounds good man! All of the sounds you get from one instrument is fantastic. I haven't been playing hardly at all lately but this inspires me to start turning some pedals on again. :thumb: I also agree with whoever said he wouldn't have known it was just two peeps. There are some spots, to be totally honest, where it feels like a little something is missing but it's just nit picking.

I tried these a while back when I was going thru my flat-test stage...they didn't last too long, being incredibly stiff imo. Decent tone, but nothing incredible.

not really lost it's spot, i just only need one OD. i might put it on the second board if there's room. it's a HELLUVA pedal. the B3k just covers all my OD needs right now.

thanks menger! yah, it's a set that we kept like 2 songs from before, maybe 3 or 4 riffs that we've had laying around, but the rest is from the ground up over the last month. still evolving into the songs they should be. i feel you on some more sparse places, and the priority during this writing/getting ready to record month'ish is to get everything setup at the practice spot right. hearing recorded stuff helps a LOT to be more analytical than in the moment.

MOOF. BACK TO BUILDING CABLES.

Behnders. You racked up a huge bill in 2012. Luckily, I am a friend. A huge friend. I will gladly take that amazingly awesomely etched elements off of your hands. And since it's going to a fellow bud of Dann......no guilt on your end.

Your selflessness is an inspiration to us all.

Derelict - by 'not lasting', I meant that I took them off after a few days 'cause I didn't like the stiffness, not that they died early. I might stil have them here somewhere...if so, you can have them if you want.

P/J setup:
P bass with a Jazz bridge pu or Jazz bass with a P pu?
Can't decide which I like more.

I kinda eyeballed the routing, whatever. Shoulda chiseled it like everything else. Slap a sticker over it, cut out the pickup areas, it'll be fantastic.
Anyway, the point is that neck Js are awesome but will never be the same as a P. So you need both.
Bridge P -- bleh, may as well be a bridge J. That's all it will ever be compared to anyway. Even though bridge Js are nasal wuss pickups, I guess they come in handy every now and then.

I decided that I'm never gonna find an SBV-550 so I may as well turn the 500 into one. The plan was to put the J uuuuuup there, but due to the way the neck is constructed (it's bolt-on, but the actual neck-to-body connection is really long) that's as far as you can go without routing away the neck itself, so...
The farther up, the better! Sounds super good!
