urg. i feel you meng. transitions are so weird. the potential is awesome yet daunting. shit's kinda skeery.

annnnnnnnnd now i feel like a douche gushing about Paul but last night was just way too fun. played with a couple bands i really like, everybody was super nice. this place.... word on the street is the door men skim off the door take, i just don't care about this spot enough to make a fuss over another $50 split 4 ways, but i KNOW there was at least 50 people that paid, they reported 27, they always take a $100 for the soundman (more bullshit), so with the 1/4 of the bar it was $85 to split 4. us and the other Oaklandisb bands said we don't care about $20 and gave $30 to the band driving from SF and the rest to the band on a mini tour going back to LA.

it was neat 'cause everybody was super chill and easy. and i fucking LOVE playing with bands i actually like.

Yeah. Money isn't good around here and we usually end up giving most of our cut to the out of towners. Kinda lame when trying to fund an album but I've got so many favors I can call in between Austin and NOLA that it's unreal.............now if I could only tour or had a band that could.

Sucks, Deltz. I mean. It's kinda cool in a way that you knew this was coming and they've been dragging you along for two months (finality rules) but horrible that it happened. I'm kinda....meh....about Jet Jaguar. When we jam things are so freaking awesome. The music is insanely good and we all mesh together well......but we only meet like once every other month. We'll jam and everyone will say "oh, let's try to get together once a week, this is so awesome" and then it'll be another month and a half of one of the other three guys canceling last minute. Ooooof. I'm the only one who doesn't cancel and I'm the guy with five kids. Hahaha. Sarah and I have a deal going where we each "get a night off" and I need something to fill in there. Musically. Might be looking for something new.

yeah. seriously. 2 guys? that AREN'T SINGERS. fucking simple. we're going to look at a practice spot closer to us because right now that's the only bugaboo. it's a bitch to drive almost half an hour each way and we have to either go before 3pm or after 7pm or it adds a half hour each way. we do 2-4 days a week depending on if there's a show coming up or a new song we want to nail down.

but it's so easy and mellow doing shit. kinda scares me. it's TOO easy.

It is crazy, Band breaks up, I have to put our cat down Monday (tumors in his mouth, poor guy), A good friend who really helped me out like nobody else has ever before is moving to Memphis and I had to say goodbye on Wed. (I am bad at saying bye to people I still care about, Fuck you I am out is much easier).

But then there is good stuff, the engagement, I am ending up with pretty damn good grades this semester (I had a hard time adjusting to UF when I transfered in), I am definitely getting a part-time job from one of two places.
