Saving the Q will also be MEGA useful! Thank you Scott. Fantastic update, cannot wait!

Cortex wrote:Fantastic to hear about the new firmware update that will give us volume control in mode 3! Thank you so much!!
Will the set volumes for different DIRs be remembered on mode change or even pedal power off? Both would be useful I think. I could see myself setting one set of volumes to use in 90% of situations and then rest of the time(I would probably tinker with it, but rarely.
Either way, fantastic that you're doing this.
when you flip modes it will keep the volume setting in mode 3 if you leave and come back. for power off/on i will add something so that you can save the power on default. this will save transcendence and q mode as well. so basically you set the pedal the way you want the default to be, store it, then if you change things, when you power cycle it will go back to the state you stored.

AMAZING. Giving the people WHAT THEY WANT.

I remember one thing I didn't like from the very first run, how in Mode 1 when you were set to quantized-unison, the effect would still shift time very slowly, so it couldn't be used as a standard delay. Was this ever changed?

yes it is fixed now but i think only since revision 0.94 which is what shipped on the last run. so in the next firm release for older pedals will correct that.

I bought one, it works well, but it's kinda annoying that it's a full turn of the knob for a full sweep rather than a more comfortable half turn. :idk:

I have one from the latest batch, and it's fixed on every mode EXCEPT the non-quantized mode at or near unison pitch. At least, this is how it is on my unit. Been meaning to record an example of this happening on my Ct5 and get a lil Steve Reich-ian or what have you.

Hey I have a very first world problem question RE Ct5 (which is the best btw).

I really like having it up on a table for tweaking settings while recording stuff, but that means I can't use modes 2 and 3 as tapping the secondary footswitch to record phrases is rather out of reach (unless I limber up and work on my high-kick).

There's not some way to use an external footswitch, like say in the expression pedal jack, to control the secondary footswitch, right?

This is just another silly, selfish idea/request, but just throwing it out there.

It'd be interesting if there were an option to invert the function of the soft switch in mode 2. I.e., if the pedal is just sitting there engaged in mode 2, it will do a continuous auto-glitch thing. If you want to freeze the current buffer and have it repeat, you hold down the soft switch.

No knock on the current setup though - love it too!

ya it is a good idea but i don't know if it will get implemented. there are alts of the firmware to make the record button act in a latching fashion instead of a hold. it would be good to have the option to switch on the device but the current firmware does not support this. maybe in the future it will, this week we start shipping the most recent pre order run so my hands are a bit tied with that for the next 2 weeks or so testing and shipping units.
