and the "headliner" is talking about how this club looks like the inside of Courtney Love's vagoo, which could be funny, but he'a destroying a cute idea with just horrible follow-up.

We were going to have a meeting today, the lead never responded and singer/rhythm said I am done. Electronic communication with that one member has always been hard.
I have pretty much already mourned this band breaking up but it still sucks.
We are not going to make the break-up official until after we are released on a free compilation album at the end of the month.
I have a bunch of equipment to pick up from the practice space. This will give me incentive to clean up my garage and set-up a small P.A. in there.
On to the next musical chapter I guess...

REALLY sorry to hear about the band.

I'm at the opposite end of that...sorta...I can't find anyone around here to play with (jeez, that sound so six-year-old-whiny...); choices usually come down to semi-pro country bands (not really my thing) or the ads in CL from those who want to form a drop-tuned nu-metal band ("MUST have pro equipment...NO F'ing COMBO'S!!!"; these always make me want to ask if they're ever heard an SWR Redhead, or a B-15, or any of the one-off pre-Peavey Trace Elliot combo's, or or or...). I put ads up on the GC bulletin board (oh god, save me...I'm actually looking for people @ GC) and the next guy steals the thumbtack for his ad...

Sucks to hear Deltz - band drama is rarely fun. On to bigger and better things!
