as far as jazz playin' goes, i guess some people still have some fun playin' autumn leaves (hell i've had fun with it compin' swing riddims in a gypsy jazzish trio) but go read that book a coupla few posts up - that shit ain't been relevant since the first chapter of that book, so i think the territory's wide open
