I'd just find a tuner you like the display of, and then split your signal to the tuner. That way you have an always on tuner that isn't in you chain.

I always kinda wondered what MASF stood for.
Now, I know.

Yup, great movie. I hadn't seen it in ages and it came on TV the other day.

Awesome, need to rewatch asap. Remember it as one of the funnier movies I've seen, but must've been like twelve years since I saw it. Man, that's half my life.

I noticed a weird hissing/leaking kind of sound from my amp yesterday while in standby. I need to obviously take it to a tech but does have anybuddy have an idea of what that could be? kind of sounded like an old desktop

Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
the tech who serviced it before said to leave the standby switch up when the amp was off to help preserve cap life because it's an old amp; is there any truth to that?

Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
Well I played a show with Viet Cong last night. Band name controversy aside (they are gonna be changing it fwiw) they made me rethink how I make music. I had heard their material before but holy fuck. It was immense. Noisey with a distinct melody, droney with a distinct pulse. Slow with distinct movement. I didn't expect to be that moved by a band's set, I suppose the edible I had consumed right before their set helped me get into the right headspace. My main big boy shiny fancy pedalboard isn't going anywhere, but I now want to make a board of around five pedals, one dirt (Fuck probably) one simple reverb, a modulated delay, and maybe a Pitchfork. Oh and a looper. Add that in with a simple Microkorg setup and I think I could have a decent, semi portable rig with little to get in the way of my playing. I just need a good clangy overdrive and I'll be on my way to the new sound.
That was seriously the first band I've seen in a long time that made me think "wow, I really need to step my game up." If you get the chance to see them anytime soon I HiGHLY HIGHLY recommend it!

I'm beginning to think fuzz only sounds great on bass, and is aight at best on guitar. Maybe it has to do with how I don't often like guitar for playing single note melodies
