ILFest is falling in place like wow. I've got a bunch of work ahead of me before September.. but even if only a few bands can make it, it'll make my year

Yay! I don't know if I've been improving much, but I've really been enjoying playing lately. I love the way everything sounds and I'm just having a lot of fun with it.

Someone told me yesterday that I'm his only friend on facebook that doesn't use it to vent their frustrations.
My last two status updates were about how the radio station at works computer DJ system is fucked and does something weird every night at 11:55. First it played Kokamo by The Beach Boys and Cecelia by Paul Simon over each other. At first I thought it was picking up two stations then I realized it wasn't. Last night it played Nights on Broadway by The BeeGees twice in a row,

. My post was about how it's good that I secretly love that song.

Saw this yesterday on the walk to the guitar shop and comic book store for Comic Book Store Day.

It appears that I was the only person on Earth who forgot it was Free Comic Book Day.
Two years ago I got this crazy collection of super surreal short comics called "Bird Hurdler." I still have it, and the illustrated collection of Kafka short stories that I bought that day. Good stuff.

The comic book store (not my usual one) was packed!
They had two guys dressed up like Transformers out front, too!

The one near me had two dudes dressed as ghostbusters. The works part was that they double parked their little vehicle, and I was trying to find a spot so I could go to the record store next door, because I also had forgotten what day it was. So, I leaned out of my window and yelled "Learn how to park, Ghostbusters!". Can't say I've said that before.
