They do send out a lot of e-mails. Seems like they all they ever do is sell at a discount. Which is fine with me, but must be a volume thing.

DUDES, I got a Wishbass but not the one I had a picture of. I compared and played them both for a hour. I wanted to buy the single-cut one but the other one just had a lot better sound.
$238.50 tax and all.
It is my Christmas present but I may only have it for today or another day or two before it gets put up for awhile.
I put up a pic in a bit.

Would it be worth swapping out that bridge-thingy for a real one?

And I kinda like that one, especially for that price.

I am not sure about swapping the bridge thing out. A part of me wants to do a decent amount of work to it, but another part of me is just like, whatevah it sounds good.
I think I got a great price on it. If I was to do anything to it, I would definitely budget it out. A little reshaping on the body and neck, a refinish, maybe change the pickup add an orange drop capacitor. Not sure what I would do to change the bridge out, I am afraid to mess with it and mess up the intonation.

Yeah, the intonation was what I was thinking of also. Is that a 34" scale?

Yeah, it is 34" scale. IDK, Maybe the intonation would just change, not get messed up. Still this bass sounds really good, probably not going to risk messing it.

i actually like the way they look. or like... 3/4's of the way they look. if he FINISHED the work....

but yeah. that's a cool price for a fun bass. neat!

Yeah, it is fun, like learning a new instrument, I am sure it will make me a better bass player. I am playing it differently than I do the Dinger.
