And a shitty looking one at that! I don't often hate designs (hell two of my favorite basses aren't exactly universally loved with the Bongo and the Big Al), but I really dislike this one a lot.

Electric drums are like anything else.
Also it is ALL about what you are triggering with them, because that is all they really are are midi triggers with spunk...

I keep looking for shitty ones used...
I want to record drums in my room, and looks like going electronic is the way for me.
I coud kill endless hours trying to make up a good sounding drumkit
then by the end of that, id probably be, ya know, at least slightly better at drums too!
I keep watching the vids, "ouch, toms sound fake, snare not too bad, kick is too clik clik"
but then, like you say, demos of this shit are made that way.
