Rehearsal bass board:

Image
Double Owl (Fuzz into OD/Boost) -> Tuner -> DL4

Usually I run the DL4 as a looper. But today I found a secret chorus setting, so I might run it as two delays (one slappy and one ambient) and a chorus.
Definitely going to throw my incoming SS/BS Mini on here once it comes in.

I really dig the aesthetics of the double owl. It's simple, but I really like looking at it.

It is listed at $420 at Prymaxe and the two places on ebay...

Well, hey! That's a good price then.

I'm pretty sure that when it first came out it was priced at $320 for the first run. Then DBA bumped it up to $420 after that. Which is too bad, as I'd like one and would maybe consider $320, but $420 is just too much in my opinion.

fuck. yes. nice board mate. dig everything about it.

EDIT: and now that I have a camera phone I pretty much take photos all the time. today I re-did my entire room as I bought new shelving from the salvos store for real cheapz to use in the music room. So now I have somewhere to store my pedlolz that I'm not using so it gave me another chance to re-do my board so that things are kinda split up. I finally "caved" and ordered an Eventide Space too :lol: FML for being broke and living internationally as for the rest of the week I will have zero dollars and no pedals till later next week. argggggggh :mad:

SPOILER : show

@chankgeez - yea that's what I figured. Not sure why he would be mad tho, he's never done that before. It felt very deliberate on his part. maybe he was annoyed I was spending too much time with my gear and not enough with him lol. fuckin cats

@fetch - thanks dude! the Space is insanely sick, just a ridiculous amount of tones and controls. It almost makes it hard to use in a live setting unless you set up lots of presets which I haven't done yet. I just want to sit there and tweak the fuck out of it. So far I like it best when being used to add effects to the loops I build up in the dl4 while the nano verb gets more traditional reverb usage.

Yep, shred, cats are very temperamental. They can hold grudges for a long time too.

I guess I'll have to win him back over the only way I know how... with extra gooshy food and laser pointer sessions.

Just got the Superpuzzle in today
Image

I haven't gotten to try it loud or through my real amp yet, but so far it's pretty awesome. Like woah.. Does rad old school rawk toanz, super doomy sounds, some synthy stuff with the starve. It's fuckin cool.

I like more simplistic stuff now so I didn't think I'd like the extra controls, but they're really well thought out and useful. I guess what I'm getting at is Brian is the man and this fuzz kicks ass.
