You should try one, Syl! :poke:

Not really even remotely a ring mod, but sounds fun:

I think that Bug Elektrik sounds good, Syl :snax: Not sure what kind of circuit he's using, but after listening, it doesn't sound like just a garden variety trem w/an extended frequency lfo, so double :snax:

Saw that Hring this morning and I agree: FUN :joy: Really dug both the sizzly metallofuzz and the stuttery trem :D

Just stopping by to say I still love the Vitruvian Mod v2 I got from alexsga :yay:

I had the Moog mini a few years ago. It's nice to have a ring mod again.

I really like the Vitruvian--I have v.1. I think sometimes the awesome-but-not-so-ring-moddy sounding hard sync mode overshadows the nice straight-up ring mod.

I love setting it up in standard mode and tuning it to a relatively low pitch matched to whatever key I'm playing, then getting lost in squelchfunky low-string psych rifferama

Yeah those tracking synth sounds are fun!! It's just a great pedal for that psych rifferama!

Built another EPFM ring mod.. with effects loop (top jacks) treble cut and a depth switch for super crusty barnacle mode. It's a great ring mod. Nearly inaudible carrier.

Plus it has a UV 10mm led and purple knobs.. and it's pink :joy:

Man this must sound soo good (even if I sort of disapprove the purple knobs on red chassis :erm:)

I would love to give this circuit a try once I've gathered more experience in building stuff.

It's hot pink :)*

The schematic is in the EPFM book, which is widely available, but it does need a couple tweaks. The chips are getting harder to find, and do yourself a favor and don't mess with the dual opamp they specify just use a TL072.

I may add a TL071 buffer with phase toggle to the effects loop after experimentation last night. I like to run gain up front and then glitch in the loop.

I posted that one before. I think it's gone up $100 since!

It's 'cause he plays violin.

"Accessories coming with it are also special.
It comes with original box, manual, AC adapter, warranty card, original pick, rubber foot"

Rubber foot, I say! Very special!
